You guysssss, I think Mars transiting Scorpio is why I’m on this bullshit of posting and brainstorming because I feel like I have an actual tangible goal for my online endeavors.

But, Cookie Cazimi’s reputation is preceding her!

I got an email from a county employee that they had a last minute opening at a fall event at the senior center and someone recommended Cookie Cazimi as a possible replacement.

First thing I did was check the email url to confirm it wasn’t a scam LOL

Then, I did some digging and the person who reached out is active on Facebook, posting to local groups about said senior center.

I think I’ve mentioned that I hate my job, but I’m a government employee who is “unfortunately” not furloughed so I’m working FOR NOTHING!

And I mention that because I have to use leave in order to take this opportunity while I see my other colleagues and friends just lallygag. Some are at risk of being fired, but hell I could still be fired even though I’m “essential” with how messy everything is

So, that’s why it wasn’t an immediate yes. But, I think that’s just an excuse.

This is a common pattern for me. I pray and pray and pray for something to happen to me and something happens and I’m like, “Eek! Actually… this, that, and whatever”

That’s why I made the decision to just eat the leave. I’m sick of being here. I’m sick of doing the same shit. I’m sick of complaining and being scared.

Scared of WHAT?

I pulled cards even though I already knew my answer. Mostly to practice but I also wanted to post on YouTube for the algo and to reach someone who may be going through the same thing and has similar tendencies.

• I have authority.

I like to use the actual images of tarot when I’m reading rather than the one word symbolic meanings people assign, so while the Empress is a divine feminine who’s in abundance — she is a sovereign at the end of the day.

This to me is saying, “I am the decider.”

Chariot

• “Go for it” but I have to drive.

I know I just said I don’t assign one-word meanings, but there’s not much to say with the Chariot in this spread.

Notice the sphinxes are laying down. They will not move forward without being told to move forward.

The Empress has to say go. The driver in the chariot has to say go.

I have to say whether or not I go.

Lovers

• Building relationships.

Where are we going? To more people!

There are at least two figures; three if you count the angel. I also notice the parting clouds and shining sun.

I think going to this event will result in making more connections for the future.

The Spread

All three cards are day cards, so this is an outward expression or result; could also signify happy times.

The sphinxes could also count as figures or more people. Perhaps going to this event is a vehicle toward building relationships with people who could help me in the future toward everything in the Lovers — namely the angel and those parting clouds of opportunity.
